Peace Like a River by Leif EngerUnbelievable book in my opinion. The characters are in this book are so rich and interesting. One of the reviews reads that this book is why we read fiction in the first place and it is so true. The story is just so full of imagination and color (if that makes sense). I highly recommend this book if you like fiction. It's also set in the mid west which I have no connection to but others may like for that reason. You can pick this up at Amazon for about $10.
